Factsheets

URBES will continuously present factsheets, published papers and news items throughout the project, which will all be presented under Information and communication. Here we present the factsheets.

By sharing the produced knowledge throughout URBES' running time we hope to increased awareness of the values and meanings of urban ecosystem services and biodiversity. We encourage direct communication and participation by the users, which in turn directly contributes to the further development of the project. The communications work is spearheaded by IUCN - the International Union for Conservation of the Nature, in collaboration with ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability, and Stockholm Resilience Centre.

Factsheet 1 can be found and downloaded here. It provides a clear overview of the URBES project and its scientific background.

Factsheet 2 can de downloaded here. It focuses on the links between human health and well-being, and ecosystems.

The hashtag #BiodiverCity is a neat little place, too.
